2004 Trial Sites

Each of the sites on this map is a link that will take you to the details of that trial site.
From there you can access the results of the trials as they become available.

For the first time ever, SEPWA along with some of our sponsors, Summit, Farm and General and Syngenta Crop Protection, has joined forces with the Department of Agriculture to coordinate grain trial locations in 2004 in the Esperance Port Zone.

This will help growers gain the best possible opportunity to view trials and understand the research that is happening in their regions whilst maximising the exposure of trials in the area.

Some of the coordinated trials occur across a cluster of neighbouring properties but still in close proximity, hence the sites will provide an excellent opportunity for field walks and days as growers will be able to view a wide range of industry research.

The trial locations represent a range of environments and geographical locations across the port zone, these sites are located at Mount Madden, Cascade, Scaddan, Salmon Gums, Wittenoom Hills and Esperance Downs Research Station.

Trials range from wheat, barley and canola variety trials, agronomy and nutrition works as well as fungicide trials.
