- Joint project with CBH Group to focus on High Moisture harvesting issues under which Nigel Metz is employed
- AFFA (Dept of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry Australia) Development Grant for Young people in rural industries - Nigel Metz will use this to travel to the eastern states and overseas to further study high moisture harvesting techniques
