Many of these trials were sown quite late due to the nature of the season. It is difficult to make a valid comparison between long and short season varieties under these conditions. You should consider the maturity of varieties when comparing the yield and quality. Low yielding sites tend to provide large differences between some varieties. These yield difference are quite often caused by the inappropriate sowing date of some of the longer season varieties.

CBH receival information for all trials will be posted in January.
