What's Happening in the Esperance Port Zone
Keep up to date with workshops/ field days and events that are on in the southeast by logging onto the SEPWA website every now and again. There are many events organised for farmers and throughout the silly season (field day time) it's hard to keep up to date with what is happening.
Therefore we aim for this site to become a central focus point for finding out what is happening around the district.

| 5th August | SEPWA Ladies' Day and Dinner
Healthy Farms and Healthy Families is the theme of the event. The day attracted 160 women last year and is now the biggest event organised for rural women by a grower group. Esperance kicking off at 8am and Ravensthorpe starting at 2.30pm. The grower meetings will cover a range of topics including: - Grower weighted averaging - On-farm sampling - Quality assurance - The future of the rail network - Existing and emerging markets for WA wheat and barley - Customer feedback on WA grain - The ways in which WA wheat and barley is used in the marketplace.
