Thanks to funding from Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, Esperance Shire and Goldfields- Esperance Regional Development SEPWA implemented a 90-day trial of a private date network. With in-kind support from Cascade Grains and CBH, 2 mobile phone network style base stations will be installed on the elevator towers at Cascade Grains and Lort River CBH.Project timeline - October 2018 - March 2019Six main activities were completed in the delivery of this project:

A number of sponsors and industry representatives offered money post the November fires. They were: Interflour, AWB, PlumGrove, GIWA, Yuna Farm Improvement Group. The funds totalled almost $20,000. These have been used to run workshops and other events as needed by the recovering communities. Funds from Maggie Dent workshops were donated to Scaddan Primary School to re-build their gardens.
